Love music, films or gaming? Were looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers to help sort, price and display our wide range of donated CDs, DVDs and games in our shop. This is an opportunity to share your love of music or film or to get a taster of a career in retail while helping us create a world free from the fear of heart disease.

Just so you know, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 17 or with unspent criminal convictions. Please note this is an unpaid voluntary position in a friendly charity shop.

Typical tasks include:

• Keeping our music and entertainment department fully stocked and organised on the sales floor and behind the scenes in our stock room


• Sorting out donations of CDs, DVDs and games, checking discs for scratches and recycling those that are damaged


• Sharing your love of music and film with customers whilst on the sales floor
