Handle are currently working with a global market leading brand who are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst with a background in media to join their Consumer division.

As part of the consumer finance team, you'll play a key role in forecast cycles, quarter-end close, reporting, and market cost management. You'll partner with operational and commercial stakeholders, providing insight and ensuring financial accuracy across multiple territories.

Key responsibilities include -

• Prepare quarter-end close files, including comparatives (prior forecast, R&O)
• Conduct variance analysis across key cost lines
• Maintain a current-quarter view, tracking EMEA and territory variances
• Coordinate with finance stakeholders to ensure variance commentary is up to date
• Roll forward forecast models and actualise prior quarter results
• Prepare monthly retail subscription revenue reporting vs forecast, highlighting variances by market
• Upload forecasts into financial systems and reconcile to P&L models
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and reporting

Candidate requirements -

• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), ideally within the media sector
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP/BW and Cognos Reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (including modelling and consolidation)
• Experience supporting operational and commercial teams (desirable)
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to create and manage reporting templates and consolidations
