Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyers – Associate / Senior Associate (1–8 PQE)

I’m working with a highly regarded national firm who are looking to expand their Restructuring & Insolvency team with ambitious Associates and Senior Associates (1–8 years’ PQE).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a practice with an impressive client base and a reputation for delivering first-class advice across both contentious and non-contentious matters.

The Role

You’ll be working alongside four experienced Partners and a collaborative team on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency work, including:

• Contentious matters (c.75% of the practice) – including claims against directors, antecedent transactions, enforcement, and acting for stakeholders such as officeholders and creditors.
• Non-contentious matters – such as pre-pack administrations, asset sales, transactional advisory work, and cross-border mandates.
• High-value, complex projects – including £multi-million disputes and restructurings with international elements.

The team works with a stellar client base ranging from:

• Medium-sized and boutique insolvency practitioners
• One of the UK’s largest corporate restructuring specialists
• International accountancy firms
• Leading UK financial advisors

This breadth of work means excellent variety and exposure, with the chance to make a real impact.

What They’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (1–8 PQE), ideally with both contentious and non-contentious restructuring & insolvency experience (though strength in one area is fine – training will be provided).
• Strong technical knowledge of restructuring & insolvency law.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, and client care skills.
• Commercial awareness, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A team player with ambition to develop their career in a dynamic, growing practice.
