We are looking appoint an Associate Civil Engineer - Water Engineering to join our team in Leicester, where the bulk of our water team are based.

You'll be joininga supportive network as part of a national team, and can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering outstanding client service to meet discipline targets.
  • Leading and coordinating project resources, liaising directly with clients for successful outcomes.
  • Driving business development through fee proposals, bidding, and commercial project delivery.
  • Building and maintaining sustainable client relationships across sectors and regions.
  • Preparing and overseeing designs, technical documents, and reports.
  • Managing programming, planning, resource allocation, and team utilisation.
  • Mentoring and developing team members, nurturing talent and fostering a positive culture.
  • Providing strategic input to grow the Civil Engineering service.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Representing the business at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Leading multi-discipline bids, tenders, and client presentations.
  • Monitoring and managing the commercial and financial performance of projects and teams.
  • Promoting cross-discipline collaboration in both business development and service delivery.
  • Undertaking formal client relationship management (CRM) to secure long-term, profitable work programmes.
