About The Ned:
The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.
The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned's Club - a private members' space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 248 hotel bedrooms.
Reporting into the bar management team and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will:
Prepare and serve up perfectly made drinks from our range of menus
On our guest service bars you will be the friendly face providing exceptional experiences, along with recommendations and suggested drinks
On our service bars you will speedily prepare the orders as they come in, keeping our waiters and runners stocked with the drinks they need to deliver a seamless experience to our guests
All of our bars are in full view of the guests so a tidy, presentable, and slick operation is essential
Be a guardian of drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guests
Maintain a safe and clean bar environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm
What you can bring to the role:
You'll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to give them an exceptional service
You'll have great all-round drinks knowledge, and ideally experience with cocktails and/or wines
A creative flair is always welcome - we host regular cocktail competitions with our winning drinks being added to the menus
If you have the desire to learn and progress then you can take part including the option to gain a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) qualification, and extensive bar training as part of our monthly learning calendar
