Marsden Interim are excited to be partnering exclusively with a PE-backed player in the energy transition sector looking for an experienced Real Estate Counsel to join on an initial 6 month contract basis starting late May/June with potential to extend.

Working closely with the CEO and senior management team you will be responsible for supporting the business on real estate and project development matters including:

• draft, review and negotiate commercial and project documentation, construction, development and service contracts
• support on site acquisition transactions
• related project financing
• advising on and managing joint venture partnerships
• engaging external counsel
• ensuring best practice compliance, regulatory and governance
• managing a paralegal

You will be 10+ years PQE preferably with training and experience gained in a real estate, projects, infrastructure team of a highly regarded firm. Experience in the energy transition or renewables sector would be advantageous.
