About The Team & Role

The Children and Families Commissioning Hub is seeking two enthusiastic and organised Commissioning Officers to join our Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the commissioning and monitoring of services that help children, young people and families access the right support at the right time.

The Crisis and Resilience Fund plays a vital role in funding and developing services that build resilience, prevent escalation of need and improve outcomes for children, young people and families across Gloucestershire. As a Commissioning Officer, you will support the effective delivery, monitoring and development of commissioned services, working closely with providers, partners and colleagues across the organisation.

You will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered effectively, represent value for money and achieve positive outcomes. This will involve supporting contract and performance management, using data and insight to inform commissioning decisions, and contributing to service reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service
