Senior Civil EngineerPortsmouth£50,000 £60,000 (DOE) + BenefitsFull-Time / Permanent (Hybrid Working)Youll be joining a growing civil engineering consultancy that delivers development-led infrastructure projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes. The team is expanding due to sustained project wins, creating a genuine opportunity for someone who wants ownership, progression and a varied workload.
YOUR NEW ROLE
  • Lead the design of drainage, highways, external works and development infrastructure
  • Oversee projects from early feasibility through planning and technical approval
  • Coordinate with internal disciplines, external consultants and project stakeholders
  • Review and sign off technical designs, drawings and reports
  • Mentor junior engineers and support capability development within the team
  • Prepare fee proposals and contribute to client relationship management
  • Attend meetings and occasional site visits as required

ABOUT YOU
  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
  • IEng or working towards (desirable)
  • 5+ years experience in a consultancy environment
  • Strong background in development infrastructure design
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D design software (Site3D, Civil 3D or similar)
  • Solid understanding of SuDS, Building Regulations, MfS, DMRB and relevant standards

  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage deadlines, budgets and multiple live projects

SALARY & BENEFITS
  • £50,000 £60,000 (DOE)
