About the role

As a Neighbourhood Assistant, you'll help deliver a responsive, high-quality service that supports customers and keeps neighbourhoods safe, well-managed and welcoming.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with Neighbourhood Managers to manage tenancies, respond to enquiries and resolve neighbourhood issues. You'll build strong relationships with customers and partners, carry out visits and inspections, and play a key role in supporting thriving communities.

• Experience working in a customer-focused or public-facing role, ideally within housing or a similar environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload while maintaining accuracy
• Confidence in handling tenancy-related enquiries and administrative processes
• The ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, including responding to neighbourhood issues and anti-social behaviour
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner
