Job Title: Student Relations OfficerSalary: Commencing at 26,195 with progression to 26,855 per annumClosing Date: 2026-07-26About the Role

The role of the Student Relations Officer is a diverse and interesting one. Working across all seven Schools at the stunning Printworks Campus (including Temple Newsam Home Farm), the postholder will support students to achieve challenging attendance targets, their academic aims and their progression goals alongside engaging in enrichment activities which allow them to experience opportunities which add to their skills and prepare them for further study, Apprenticeships and careers.

The role demands a flexible, responsive approach so that the student experience is fresh, challenging and relevant. Typical duties associated with the role include meeting and greeting students, ensuring our high expectations for behaviour are upheld and acting as a key point of contact for students, parents/carers, visitors and colleagues.

Working with students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and in larger groups to deliver pastoral support, key campaigns and initiatives is another key feature of the role.

This is reduced-year role, based on 38 weeks, pro-rata. Please state on your application form what hours/days you are able to work. The pro rata'd salary is 23,289.89 with progression to 23,876.69.
