£35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime Available

We’re working with a well-established, family-run plant hire company specialising in dust suppression systems, towable water bowsers, and site equipment - and they’re looking for a Yard Fitter to join their team.

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of light plant and specialist equipment
• Working on dust suppression units, water bowsers, pumps, hoses, and small engines
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
• Preparing equipment ready for hire
• Attending occasional breakdowns on customer sites

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days look the same.

You don’t need to come from heavy plant.

If you’re mechanically minded and know your way around engines, you’ll be considered.

Backgrounds that fit well:

• Plant hire / tool hire
• Garden machinery / small engines
• Agricultural or mechanical engineering
• Automotive technicians (hands-on and adaptable)
• Or someone practical with strong mechanical ability
