We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Quality Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. This role involves working directly on the factory floor, carrying out daily quality inspections, engaging with production staff, and directly interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
• Perform regular quality checks using a range of measuring equipment.
• Address day‑to‑day quality issues using structured problem‑solving tools (8D methodology).
• Deliver clear guidance and training on quality procedures to production staff.
• Conduct hourly walkarounds of the factory to spot‑check paperwork and parts.
• Produce and formalize monthly quality reports, including:
  • Customer complaints
  • Quality‑related production downtime
  • Cost of quality
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare and carry out full PPAP submissions for customers, including FMEAs and Gauge R&R studies.
• Act as the main quality contact for customers—professional communication and resolution handling is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and practical use of precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and compliance.
• Confident in using quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, Gauge R&R.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production quality environment.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a fixed schedule.
• Must be comfortable with a hands‑on role based entirely on‑site.
