Account Manager (Developer Services)

About the role

Weve a great opportunity to become one of our Account Managers (Developer Services), where youll be the primary point of contact for large developers, providing advice and guidance with the aim of resolving any customer queries as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Youll be responsible for your workstream specialisation and provide project management support and oversight to large one-off developments, acting as the key contact across the organisation, driving coordination, collaboration, and communication with all relevant delivery teams.

Were looking for you to build, maintain, and manage ongoing contact and relationships with key customers, appropriate external bodies and stakeholders, delivering an excellent level of service and clear point of contact. Youll be responsible for the delivery of all levels of service and regulatory performance measures within your workstream specialisation, achieving leading levels of performance and meeting stretching targets. 

Youll provide business wide expertise, understanding and interpreting the market codes and market arrangements, along with providing technical, customer and commercial advice to the wider business on an assigned workstream in accordance with the Water codes for adoption.

Were looking for you to lead meetings with key stakeholders, provide and present information regarding performance as well as blockers that may have occurred and what is being done to counteract issues. Youll also be supporting colleagues to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to perform effectively to meet key performance and targets and support other Account Managers in your assigned area of expertise.

About you

To be successful in this role, were looking for you to be passionate about providing the best possible customer service, a motivated self-starter, with a solution-based approach, creating positive experiences for our customers, owning, and resolving all escalations and complaints from large developers.

Youll be experienced in continuous improvement activity, seeking and taking ownership of process gaps and opportunities. A champion for change, leaving a positive impact on customers and stakeholders alike.

Youll have proven account or relationship management experience in a Business-to-Business environment. Youll have the ability to review performance and insights data objectively, to drill into the data to continuously review our offer and approach and drive improvements throughout key customer journeys in line with the business plan.

Were looking for you to have a proven track record of strong performance and a demonstrated ability to deliver results, gathered from experience. Youll have excellent people, communication, and influencing skills - the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, along with written communication skills that are suitable for a professional contract environment.

It would be great if you had experience of working within the Water industry or a utilities/regulated environment, along with knowledge of, or the ability to learn market codes.
