Community Buddy - Flexible Respite Support (Adults & Children)

Location: Various locations across England (work local to you)

Job Type: Self-employed or employed via umbrella company Part-time | Flexible hours | Pay: £12.85 - £15/hr

About Us: Haven Respite is a social impact company offering a fresh alternative to traditional care agencies. We connect families and carers with trained, friendly "Buddies" who provide short-term, non-medical respite support. Think of us as the matchmakers for meaningful companionship and practical help.

What Youll Do:

  • Visit families in your area to offer safe, respectful respite care

  • Support both adults and children (based on your experience)

  • Build real relationships—companionship, play, supervision, and light assistance

  • Choose when and where you work through our flexible app-based system

Who Were Looking For:

  • Warm, reliable, and naturally caring people

  • Experience supporting others (personal or professional)

  • Clear enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A smartphone and basic digital confidence

Bonus if you have:

  • Childcare or adult social care experience

  • First Aid training

  • A drivers license (not essential)
