Customer Service Representative
What youll do
Our Contact Centre is open Mon- Fri 7am-8pm, Sat 7am-7pm, Sun 8am-5pm (some shifts will include weekend and evening work). You will be based in the office for the first 6 months of employment whilst we support you to learn our systems and ways of working. After that you will have the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days a week with 1 or 2 days based in the office.
If youre successful at application stage well invite you to a 15 minute phone interview, the next step after that will be a face to face interview process.
Youll be the voice of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. This isnt your average call centre role, theres no script to follow, so its more about asking the right questions and finding answers quickly and efficiently. And if theyre not happy, itll be up to you to get things back on track! But if you take real pride in what you do, our customers will notice and love us all the more for it.
Day-to-day
Delivering great service. Providing a great customer experience with a smile on your face (or voice!) - no matter how busy you are.
Asking questions and building relationships. Reading conversations quickly and effectively - making sure our customers leave the call happy and with everything that they need for the job.
Being resilient. Effectively handling call after call - from general enquiries to customer complaints, you need to be ready to deal with it all.
What youll bring
Hard work and passion. You dont need call centre experience. Just be focused on delivering great service and well teach you the rest.
Good sense. We need you to read conversations quickly and manage them effectively using a good judgment approach
A positive attitude. Make sure that our customers have a great experience while on the phone.
