The Role
Reporting to the EMEA Demand Planning Manager, you will drive continuous improvement of the forecasting process through standardisation, best practice sharing, adoption of new processes, and promote the improvement of the forecasting culture across the businesses.
You will work with cross-functional teams in KAO, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and wider Supply Chain to analyse historical data, assess market trends, and develop demand forecasts to support our supply & inventory management strategies
What Youll Do
- Manage the Bondi Sands demand planning process, developing 12-18-month forecasts using KAO forecasting systems and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams to incorporate customer demand insights, ensuring forecasts align with actual sales, including promotional planning and new product development (NPD) volume validation.
- Analyse demand patterns, SKU performance, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actions.
- Work cross-functionally to align on promotional strategies, ensure product availability for marketing campaigns and NPD launches, and provide risk assessments for slow-moving inventory.
- You will lead monthly demand planning meetings with key stakeholders, providing insights to shape overall business strategy and working with Supply Planners to reduce potential supply chain disruptions.
What Youll Need
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not essential.
- 5-7 years of experience in demand planning, ideally within the beauty sector.
- 5+ years of experience with ERP systems in a demand planning environment is.
- Expertise in demand forecasting and data analysis tools.
- Ability to collaborate across teams.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to reprioritise quickly.
