Digital Solutions Engineerto join our growing Digital Solutions team. This is a multifunctional technical role that combines software installation, project management, remote support, and pre-sales consultancy, working with cutting-edge on-premises and cloud-based software products.n

Key ResponsibilitiesnAs a Digital Solutions Engineer, you will:n

Technical Support & Customer ServicenDeliver remote and telephone support to customers and internal teamsn

Diagnose software application issues and network connectivity problemsn

Perform software upgrades and maintain detailed CRM recordsn

Provide expert application support for ZEISS digital solutionsn

Pre-Sales & Commercial SupportnPartner with the Sales Team to provide technical input during customer meetings and tender processesn

Review quotations for technical accuracyn

Attend customer meetings to support the sales cyclen

Project Management & Software DeploymentnManage and coordinate the installation and upgrade of softwaren

Liaise with customers and IT departments to provide technical specifications and project documentationn

Install ZEISS software remotelyn

Internal Support & CollaborationnProvide IT and software support to ZEISS Field Service Engineers, Sales Teams, and Clinical TrainersnMaintain internal documentation including training materials, project trackers, and CRM recordsn

Collaborate with third-party suppliers when requiredn

Training and DevelopmentnOngoing professional development through e-learning, virtual, and in-person trainingn

Opportunities to attend training sessions in Germany and the USAnRegular reviews with your line manager to support continuous growthn

Quality and CompliancenAll work must align with ZEISS ISO standards and QA proceduresn

Adhere to the Digital Technical Support Manual (SIS) and Mira Knowledge BasenUphold a customer-first approach in every interactionn

Travel RequirementsnPrimarily based in Cambridge, with travel to customer sites across the UK and IrelandnSome overnight stays required for customer visits, internal meetings, and training coursesn
