Education Graduate Opportunity - TA Role

Location: Leeds

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am-15:30pm

Milk Education are working with Primary Schools in Leeds who are looking for enthusiastic and caring Graduates to join their team as Teaching Assistants.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates (within the last 3 years) who are interested in working in education. Whether you have previous experience working with children or are looking to get started in the classroom, the schools offer a supportive and welcoming environment to help you build your skills and confidence.

The role will initially be offered on a week-on-week basis, with the potential to lead to a long-term position

Requirements:

• A degree completed within the last 3 years (in any subject)
• A positive attitude and a passion for education
• Good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
• A willingness to learn and take guidance from teaching staff
• Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential-full support and training will be provided

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development in class
• Working with teachers to deliver lessons and activities
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed
• Promoting inclusion and helping pupils to engage in their learning
• Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
