EYFS Teaching Assistant

Recruiting to start Sept 2025 an EYFS Teaching Assistant with experience and knowledge to work 1-1 with a Pre Verbal reception pupil for a school based in Hornchurch.

For this EYFS Teaching Assistant role, ideally qualified with a relevant EYFS or L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Additionally SEN knowledge to support/develop and nurture the EYFS child 1-1 with their everyday learning.

Monday - Friday 8.15am - 3.30pm with a break, (Term time only)

For this EYFS Teaching Assistant role:

• Experience and knowledge of working with Early Years Pre-Verbal children.
• Knowledge and an understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics would be essential.
• Supporting the child through learning and play.
• Working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide for the student, to motivate, support and develop the student
• Having high expectations for behavioural and developing the childs social skills.
• To assist with personal care.
• Relevant EYFS or L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
