The Bay TreeFood Co- an established and trusted fine-foods brand with over 100 chutneys, pickles, jellies, sauces, dressings, preserves, cakes and confectionery into retail and foodservicen
Whitakers Chocolates- a British-heritage chocolatier creating premium chocolate for retail, private-label and foodservice sectors

Role OverviewWere looking to expand our Foodservice division and seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help spearhead growth in hospitality, catering and the foodservice sectors. Key ResponsibilitiesnProspect & winnew foodservice customers: restaurants, hotels, caterers, wholesalers, contract caterers and speciality venuesn
Manage & growexisting accounts—offering The Bay Tree chutneys & preserves, Whitakers chocolate products and our full range of biscuits, cakes, confectionery and savoury snacksn
Stay on top offoodservice trendsand emerging hospitality conceptsn
Deliversales presentations, product tastings and menu-development supportn
Develop and executeterritory plans, setting clear objectives, KPIs and activity schedulesn
Collaboratewith Marketing, Customer Service and Operations to ensure seamless order processing, on-time delivery and exceptional customer caren
Maintain accurateCRM recordsand produce regular business-review reports
Skills & ExperienceHospitality/Foodservice background: catering, hospitality supply or a chef background desirable but not essentialn
Self-motivated & energetic: you own your diary, your pipeline and your resultsn
Customer-facing flair: confident presenter to chefs, F&B managers and buying teamsn
Commercial acumen: spot opportunities, negotiate margin and deliver against sales targetsn
Organised & proactive: manage multiple accounts and close business with minimal supervisionn
Team player: collaborate effectively across functionsn
Full UK driving licence: company car, mobile and laptop providedn
Ideally: relevant degree or demonstrable trade/sales experience
