Global Supply Planning Specialist

Role: Global Supply Planning SpecialistLocation: Hybrid - (1 day a week working from the office in London or Cheshire)Salary: £60,000 - £70,000We are excited to be partnering with a global medical devices business, who are currently looking for a senior supply planning expert to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting the global quality and operations function, through optimising product availability and achieving inventory targets, whilst also driving improvements to key business metrics. In this role, you will be working closely with global cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless production and delivery of products, to help meet customer demands. This is a highly visible role requiring strong global supply planning experience, ideally within a regulated industry, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across production, commercial, and marketing teams.

About the role:Manage global supply to meet customer service levels while achieving inventory and cost targets

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align production, inventory, and supply signals

Lead scenario planning and “what-if” simulations to support decision-making

Prepare insights and recommendations for the S&OP process and senior leadership

Support new product launches and lifecycle management across internal and external manufacturing networks

Contribute to continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and supporting system/process enhancements

About you:Strong supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices or pharma)Experience working with global production sites and third-party manufacturing partners

Comfortable influencing across commercial and marketing teams, with confident presentation skills

Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience in SAP IBPProactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable to change
