Impact Lab Project Coordinator

Duties:

Project Management and Partner Engagement:

  • Oversee six concurrent research projects with Oxfordshire-based social enterprises, charities, and community groups, managing timelines and ensuring research outputs meet the expectations of Oxford University and partners.

Student Development and Support:

  • Mentor and guide 12 graduate students throughout their research journey, focusing on research methodologies, team dynamics, and professional development, helping transform their work into impactful outcomes.

Educational Programme Delivery:

  • Coordinate and support a weekly seminar series during the Trinity Term, designing content, organizing guest speakers, and ensuring valuable research and leadership learning outcomes.

Operational Support:

Contribute to the SDG Impact Labs broader operations, including event coordination, stakeholder communications, and impact reporting. Selection criteria:
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Sciences, International Development, or related
  • Experience in managing research projects and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of social science led research methodologies and ability to guide student researchers
  • Proven track record in mentoring or teaching at university level
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and partnership development
  • Experience in designing and delivering educational or training programmes
