Maintenance Engineer - Night shift
A Nottingham based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern food production facility based in South Nottingham. As an electrically biased multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems. Role: Multi skilled, electrically biased4on 4off shifts - perm Nights (12 hour , 6pm - 6am)Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
Salary of c£54k Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer: Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMSWork closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements Experience and skills required: Qualified maintenance engineer with C&Gs or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
Apprenticeship trained
Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
Food or FMCG manufacturing / production experience required To apply
