Job Description:

We are looking for a Principal Solutions Consultant who is an expert in IoT platforms and Identity Management solutions to join the European team reporting to the Head of Northern Europe Solutions Consulting within Business Network.

Role:

As a Principal Solutions Consultant, you will support the sale of Opentext IoT and Identity Management solutions within Europe. As part of a successful and experienced solutions consulting team, you will:

  • Support the Sales and Presales teams with ongoing sales initiatives and expansion of the OpenText Business Network services portfolio
  • Lead the technical qualification, solution design and project proposal phases of the sales process
  • Develop customer specific proof of concepts
  • Provide on-going technical support to the sales process including live demonstrations and best-practices consulting
  • Work closely with product managers, solution architects and implementation teams to scope and document projects and estimates for proposals. Ensure smooth transition from sales to solutions implementation and operations
  • Support written solution proposals and presentations to clients including responses to RFXs
  • Drive product development and innovation by working with product management and product marketing
  • Travel within Europe on a regular basis

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales, consulting or delivery role, in IoT and Identity Management solutions and services
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain and logistics business processes across several industries including retail, CPG, automotive, high tech, life sciences and manufacturing
  • Experience in consulting with customers at all levels from operational staff to CxO
  • Proven ability to understand and analyse customers needs and identify, develop & present appropriate solutions, including products and services
  • Experienced in services models on a global basis that includes service level agreements (SLA), operation level agreements (OLA), services governance, data centre operations, ongoing customer management and change management.
  • Excellent customer relations including written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in English at a minimum, proficiency in a second European language will be considered an advantage
  • Team attitude while enjoying a high level of independence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in a relevant subject

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience of identity and access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access and device access
  • Experience with REST APIs and SDKs 
  • Experience with one or more authentication or authorization protocols (OAuth, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, LDAP) together with experience in customer identity frameworks
  • Experience building web applications, incorporating both front and backend languages and frameworks
  • Experience working with HTTP, HTML, and REST services including the use of development tools such as Curl or Postman
  • Understanding of core security concerns (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies (LoRa, WiFi, BLE, Cellular, etc.) with an understanding of radio coverage aspects for IoT applications
  • Detailed knowledge of data communication, network, software application and IT technologies
