Procurement Category Manager - Corporate Services

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) Procurement team as a Category Manager. Whilst this role sits within our Corporate Services team, who lead Procurement activities for HR, People, Legal & Professional Services and Travel, we will also consider your application for other categories, as relevant.

Youll have responsibility for Procurement activities from end-to-end sourcing and cost transformation to sustainability and strategic relationship management, daring to find new innovative ways to drive efficiency, and help us get that #2 share in Grocery so we can offer our customers the best value possible.

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities;
• Develop category strategies;
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base;
• Lead on major business investments and executive priorities;
• Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics;
• Support the procurement transformation, setting new standards.

• Proven experience in Procurement/Category Management
• Adept at balancing and anticipating the needs of various stakeholders
• Confident influencing varied stakeholders
• Agile and adaptable to support business needs in a dynamic transformation environment
• Skilled in crafting and managing complex contracts
• Whilst experience in Corporate Services would be desirable, open to individuals seeking to switch categories
