Trusts and Foundations Lead

Our client is part of a global eye care charity dedicated to ending avoidable blindness worldwide. Through innovative programmes, they provide sight-saving treatment, train eye health professionals, and drive research that transforms lives. In 2024, the charity raised £5.1 million to support projects in 8 countries, delivering thousands of treatments and training sessions.

As Trusts & Foundations Lead, youll drive the organisations strategy to secure major, multi-year funding from trusts and foundations in the UK and Europe. Youll manage key six and seven-figure relationships and lead your team to secure new high-value grants. This hands-on role combines relationship management, team leadership, and strategic planning to grow and steward a portfolio of funders supporting the charitys mission to end avoidable blindness.

The organisation are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser with a proven track record of securing six-figure grants. Youll be an inspiring leader, experienced in managing and coaching teams, and confident in writing compelling proposals and building strong relationships with funders. Youll bring strong analytical and communication skills, a strategic mindset, and ideally, experience in international development or health.
