Underwriter (Consumer Asset Finance) Manchester (Hybrid - 3/4 days in the office, 1/2 days from home) Up to £40K per annum Permanent, Full-time Maxwell Bond are working with a financial services client who are building out a brand-new Consumer Asset Finance team and looking to bring an experienced Underwriter on board.

Youll be assessing credit applications for Hire Purchase agreements across a range of assets.

The role comes with a delegated lending mandate, and youll be expected to work within agreed SLAs while balancing risk with commercial thinking.

Theyre after someone with solid experience in consumer asset finance whos confident making credit decisions, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
