The role:

Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we act as an extension of our clients recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.

We are currently hiring a number of Wax Patch Assemblers on behalf of our client to work 12-month contracts at our clients facility in Derby.

We welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills. Certain roles will require a high level of dexterity and/or frequent physical activity, including lifting.

What we are looking for in a candidate:
  • Has process experience within the aerospace industry; advantageous, it is not essential.
  • Has experience of following technical instructions and records, and basic computer literacy.
  • Will be flexible to adapt to meet our business needs.
  • The ability to work across a 2 or 3 shift pattern is essential.
  • Will comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, to take care of themselves and their colleagues.

As a Wax Patch Assembler, you will:
  • Be able to engage in repetitive, dextrous tasks.
  • Work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Undertake assembly work is carried out at an assembly bench - operators can be in seated/stood position
  • Be responsible for completing fine repair activity on fragile wax patterns using hand tools such as a scalpel. Also responsible for the hand assembly of wax assemblies. Assemblies are built using hand tools and wax consumables. Again, very fragile materials and excellent dexterity is required.
