  • looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the
  • day-to-day running of the nursery, lead and inspire the team, and help ensure
  • the highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You’ll work closely
  • with the Nursery Manager to create a positive environment for children,
  • families, and staff.

This is a

  • full-time role, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key

  • Responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of
every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
· Understand and ensure that the
requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the
nursery.
· Assist in managing the acceptance and
administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date
for children or staff with health conditions.
· Ensure that all children receive
stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are
appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Promote respect and credibility for
this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and
consistency.
· Inspire staff team with creative
ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
· Undertake any other duties to ensure
the smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff,

and families

  • Duties and

· Full and relevant Level 3 in

  • Childcare qualification - Essential
  • · Over 1 years’ experience of working
  • in Early Years - Essential
  • · Sound knowledge of the statutory
  • framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
  • · Over 1 years’ experience of working
  • in a management position - Desirable.
  • · Level 5 qualification in Childcare
  • and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
  • · Experience of successfully passing an
  • Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable.
