Heres more about the role and what were looking for: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. The postholder will provide proactive, high-level executive and administrative support to the Dean of the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring the effective management of a busy and varied portfolio of responsibilities. In addition, they will serve as Secretary to the Universitys Defence and Security Sector Group, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities for the Defence University Alliance (DUA), and provide administrative leadership and support for a newly established Centre of Excellence in Defence and Security. About You Experienced in organising and supporting meetings, travel arrangements, conferences, workshops, interview panels, and virtual events, with excellent attention to detail. Skilled in maintaining electronic filing systems, preparing briefing papers, collating and analysing information, drafting reports, and managing confidential and sensitive documentation. Ability to support strategic initiatives, coordinate bid submissions, manage competing priorities, exercise judgement on urgent matters, and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures. Highly organised with excellent time-management skills, able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Why should you Apply?
