We're looking for a Learning & Development Care Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring our care colleagues receive the essential training they need to provide safe, high-quality, compliant care.

Working closely with Care Leaders, Learning & Development Partners, Health & Safety colleagues and external training providers, you'll coordinate and deliver essential learning activities that support regulatory compliance, colleague development and outstanding customer outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Care Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating essential and mandatory care training programmes across the organisation.
  • Supporting Registered Care Home Managers and leaders to identify learning needs and achieve compliance with core care training requirements, including inductions and the Care Certificate.
  • Managing training schedules, invitations, attendance records and learner communications.
  • Maintaining accurate training records and reporting through our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ensuring volunteers receive mandatory training and refresher learning.
  • Building strong relationships with internal subject matter experts and external training providers.
  • Supporting the maintenance of care skills matrices and training requirements across care services.
  • Producing regular compliance and performance reports for stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying innovative learning solutions and emerging trends within the care sector.

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experienced in administration and co-ordination, ideally within a learning, development or training environment. With the ability to demonstrate strong MS Office Skills.
  • Passionate about learning and helping others succeed.
  • A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable working with systems, data and reporting.

Desirable requirements

  • Experience within Learning & Development, Training, People/HR or the Care sector.
  • Knowledge of compliance-based or mandatory training programmes.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).

This is a hybrid role enabling you to work from home if you wish. There will be a need to travel within our operating region, so youll have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
