HGV Class 1 Lorry Driver

Location: Armagh
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Gentech Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established client in Armagh to recruit an experiencedHGV Class 1 Lorry Driver to join their growing transport team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with Operator Licence requirements.
  • Report any vehicle defects promptly to the Transport Manager.
  • Complete all delivery and transport documentation accurately.
  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of your vehicle.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
  • Carry out any additional duties as required by the Transport Department.

Essential Requirements

  • ValidHGV Class 1 (C+E) License.
  • Up-to-dateDriver CPC andDigital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum of2 years' HGV driving experience.
  • Clean driving licence with no endorsements.
  • Experience delivering throughoutNorthern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious with a positive, can-do attitude.
