Behind every well-run service is someone making sure the details never slip.
Join Positive Futures as a Service Administrator and become the organisational backbone of our Supported Living Service. You'll keep the administration running smoothly so that Service Managers and staff can focus on what matters most: giving people we support a good, well-supported life.
This is a varied, hands-on administrative role at the heart of the service. You'll support recruitment and induction for new staff, keep records and reports accurate and up to date, help coordinate staff rotas and maintenance, and make sure everything runs in line with our policies and the standards set by regulators like RQIA and Supporting People.
- Real variety: Move between recruitment admin, record keeping, finance monitoring, health and safety checks and staff rota coordination, no two days are quite the same.
- Genuine responsibility: Depending on the service, you may take on line management responsibility for other staff or volunteers, and play a real part in shaping service objectives and action plans.
- A role that keeps things moving: Your accuracy and organisation directly support the Service Manager and the wider team to deliver a high-quality service, day in, day out.
If you're organised, accurate under pressure, and confident with Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you.
This role is a fixed term contract (up to 9 months) with the possibility of extension, subject to business needs.
About The Role
When the paperwork, the rotas and the records are all in order, everything else runs smoother, and that starts here.
As a Service Administrator, you'll support the Service Manager in delivering a high-quality service, making sure administrative processes meet the requirements of relevant policies and regulations. You'll produce documents, records and reports to a high standard of accuracy, in line with our house style, and you'll maintain effective communication systems so information flows where it needs to.
You'll provide administrative support for induction and training of new staff, and depending on the service, you may coordinate staff rotas, monitor personal finances for the people we support, or carry out health and safety checks and escalate issues where needed. You'll also help ensure maintenance work in the houses of the people we support and the service office is carried out in line with policy and service agreements.
If you take pride in getting the details right and enjoy being the person who keeps a busy service running smoothly, this is a great fit.
