Hiring: Agentic AI Engineer
Location: UK / Europe Time Zone
Duration: 12 Months
Work Mode: Remote

We are hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and scale AI agents and agentic workflows that meaningfully improve how engineering teams work every day. This is a long-term contract role (12 months) with remote working across the UK / Europe time zone.
This role sits within a transformation-focused engineering team that helps multiple coding and engineering teams adopt modern agentic AI platforms, tools, and workflows, enabling them to focus on solving complex problems rather than repetitive or manual work.
Role Overview
As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will work closely with engineering teams to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and bottlenecks. You will document how teams currently work, identify opportunities for automation or augmentation using AI agents, and then design and build scalable AI agent applications and tools that can be reused across teams.
Your work will include building agents for:
• Development & coding workflows
• DevOps and CI/CD automation
• Security and compliance use cases
• Knowledge management and retrieval
• Engineering productivity and developer experience
You will help shape a new way of working with AI agents at scale, driving adoption across teams through workshops, training sessions, and hands-on enablement.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and operate AI agents and agentic workflows that improve developer productivity
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand day-to-day engineering pain points
• Translate real-world engineering problems into practical AI-driven solutions
• Build reusable components such as:
Working Model & Team
• Fully remote role, aligned to Europe time zone
• Part of a transformation-focused engineering group supporting multiple teams
• Day-to-day work involves collaborating with different coding and engineering teams
• You will first understand and document how teams work, create reports, and then scale solutions by building AI agent tools for them
• Strong emphasis on collaboration and adaptability across teams
Required Skills & Experience
Agentic AI & Platforms
• Deep hands-on experience with agentic AI platforms
• Experience building and deploying agents using tools such as AgentCore, Gemini Enterprise, Azure Copilot
• Strong understanding of agent SDKs and frameworks such as LangChain, ADK, Strands
Development Workflow Discipline
• Strong experience with modern development workflows:
Agentic Patterns & Protocols
• Familiarity with:
LLM Tooling & Hands-on Build Experience
• Experience creating and maintaining:
Cloud & Engineering
• Experience working with AWS, CDK, CI agents, and modern DevOps tooling
• Ability to integrate agents with existing systems via APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures
Nice to Have
• Experience with enterprise AI governance, safety, and compliance
• Background in Developer Experience (DevEx), platform engineering, or internal tools
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring for agents (logs, traces, evaluation frameworks, feedback loops)
