The Children and Young People's Directorate (CYP) holds responsibility for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children and young people across Suffolk County.
As an Assessment Coordinator within CYP's Central Child in Need Team, you will play a meaningful role in continuously enhancing service quality to create sustainable, positive impacts for vulnerable children, youth and families.

The team
The team is responsible for undertaking social work assessments, S47 investigations and supporting families where a child is in need or there is a child protection plan. The team work directly with children and families who present a range of complex needs.
They team aim to balance staff wellness with achieving the best possible outcomes for children and parents.
