At Inspire, we're a leading charity dedicated to mental health, wellbeing, and learning disability services across Northern Ireland and beyond. We're looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our Finance and Corporate Services team in Belfast. Why This Role Matters As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting our Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and tailored solutions that empower strategic decision-making. Assist FBPs in preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes across divisions.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
Analyse and interpret financial data, providing clear explanations to non-finance colleagues.
Contribute to financial reviews, performance monitoring, and risk analysis.
Help roll out new financial tools and systems.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Actively studying or interested in pursuing a professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) OR
Minimum of two years' experience in a finance role (e.g., accounts assistant, finance administrator).
Experience:
Assisting in the preparation of management or statutory accounts.
Handling and analysing financial data using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
Communicating financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work across locations.
