We are currently hiring Manufacturing Assembly Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture or assembly of bearings / chain and ball units in accordance with drawings or customers requirements Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate: £12.71 Type: Temp ongoing Location: Lye, DY9 Key Responsibilities: General assembly work Using Toggle Press / Greasers and Fly press General chain assembly General inspection Responsible for the manufacture or assembly of components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements and SOPs Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment Reliability and good communication skills. Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
