As a Theatre Scrub Practitioner at our Chichester Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You're a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
As a Theatre Scrub Practitioner, you will:
Work with some of the best in the field
Enjoy a varied caseload
Put your communication skills to work
Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
Shape patient experiences that are always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate
Have a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Have a Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - desirable but not essential
Have a minimum 2 years Ortho Scrub experience

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
