Your new company
A Co. Armagh based organisation is seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to support a busy Finance department across multiple entities. The role combines credit control, accounts receivable, management accounts support, and process improvement, working full-time on-site and reporting to the Accountant. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Your new role
Core Focus Areas
Accounts Receivable - managing debt collection, resolving invoice queries, maintaining customer records, processing cash allocation, preparing aged debt reports, and completing sales routines.
Accounts Assistant duties - assisting with management accounts, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes, intercompany reconciliations, VAT returns, stock analysis, and audit support.
Expense processing - handling company card and employee expenses, matching receipts, and allocating costs accurately.
Process improvement - identifying and championing system and workflow enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will thrive in this role if you are:

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and managing competing priorities.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and streamlining processes.
• Experience with EFACS, multi-currency reconciliations, or VAT reporting would be advantageous but not essential.
