This position is well-suited to individuals who are looking to work occasionally and contribute in a meaningful way, especially during peak periods or when extra ceremonial support is required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting at funeral services - bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners
  • Driving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousines
  • Representing Dignity Funerals with professionalism and empathy
  • Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day of the service
  • Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct, and service delivery
About YouWe're looking for someone who:
  • Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and professionalism
  • Understands the importance of presentation and discretion
  • Is physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Is reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including short-notice availability
  • Is comfortable with tasks that involve direct contact with the deceased
