Catering Assistant. Manor Park Care Home

• Hours: 29.25 per week, 3 shifts 
• Salary: *£12.76 per hour
• Shifts: 8am-6:30pm 

We’re looking for friendly and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at Manor Park Care Home, in the picturesque town of Malton. 

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a clean and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities.

• Assist with meal preparation and food service throughout the day
• Support residents during mealtimes, including serving food and drinks
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Help with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Work collaboratively with care and kitchen staff to meet residents’ dietary needs
• Provide a friendly and respectful service, promoting dignity and choice

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable
• A positive, team-focused attitude and strong communication skills
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided)
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including alternate weekends
