About the Role:
Northumberland County Council's Staff Bank is looking for skilled and flexible individuals to join our pool of Community Hub Assistants. These are temporary, ad-hoc roles, ideal for those who want to work flexibly or seek long-term assignments within the Council. Assignments may range from covering staff shortages due to sickness to longer-term placements (up to 12 months) based on the needs of our Community Hubs.
As a Community Hub Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming, user focused environment at our Hubs and beyond. Your daily tasks may include:

If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long-term assignment for up to 12 months or on an ad hoc basis.
