Our client is a 13-year-old male with an optic nerve tumour, epilepsy and is blind. He has a hydrocephalus shunt, an NG tube and whilst he can walk, uses a wheelchair due to fatigue.

Previous experience supporting /teenagers desirable. Hours available: Monday - Friday - 3-hour morning shifts & 3-hour evening shifts. Weekend shifts and holiday cover when hours increase.

Pay: £16 per hour weekdays, £17 per hour when weekend shifts are available. Key Responsibilities: Delivering personalised care routines. Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.

Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. Encouraging and joining in with activities. Providing emotional support and companionship.

Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Experience in a similar role working with brain injuries, epilepsy and individuals who are blind.

Relevant qualifications in health and social care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
