Composite Design EngineerMotorsport | Contract - Outside IR35| £50 - £60 | SilverstoneWe're supporting a motorsport team in their search for experienced Composite Design Engineers to support ongoing development projects at their Silverstone facility. This role will suit engineers with a strong understanding of composite design processes including patterns, models, and components and a hands-on approach to layering and part definition. Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and development of composite components, with a focus on floor, bodywork, and wings (no chassis work required).
Generate detailed composite layups using CATIA 3DX.Liaise with internal departments to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and performance standards. Deliver high-quality design work within fast-paced project timelines. Ideal Candidate:Proven experience (4+ years) in composite design, ideally within F1, motorsport, or other high-performance engineering sectors.
Proficient in CATIA 3DX; NX experience is a plus but not essential. Strong background in composite layering techniques. Able to hit the ground running in a contract environment and deliver from day oneJBRP1_UKTJ
