Cover Teacher - Full-Time & Part-Time - York - October Start Location: York, North Yorkshire Start Date: October 2025 Salary: up to £235 per day Agency: Veritas Education

Veritas Education is currently recruiting flexible and enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work across secondary schools in York. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, starting in October.

This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers, early career teachers (ECTs), or experienced cover supervisors looking to gain experience in a variety of school settings.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
• Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to teaching staff and support student progress
• Work on a flexible, day-to-day or longer-term basis

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant classroom experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
• A genuine interest in supporting young people's education
