Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Creative / Graphic Designer to join our team. This role will focus on designing compelling, functional, and brand-aligned signage solutionsfrom concept to final production. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, a deep understanding of visual communication in physical spaces, and the technical know-how to bring ideas to life within the signage industrys unique constraints and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept Development Create original, innovative design concepts for indoor, outdoor, and vehicle signage that meet client briefs and enhance brand visibility.
  • Brand Alignment Ensure all designs align with the clients branding guidelines while adding creative flair that maximizes impact.
  • Technical Artwork Preparation Prepare print-ready and production-ready files with accurate specifications for various signage materials and fabrication methods (e.g., vinyl, acrylic, LED, large format print, 3D lettering).
  • Collaboration Work closely with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Client Engagement Participate in client meetings to present ideas, refine concepts based on feedback, and provide creative recommendations.
  • Trend Awareness Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate fresh ideas into design work.
  • Quality Control Review proofs, conduct design checks, and ensure high visual and production quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Creative Designer, in the signage, large format printing, or visual communications industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory in large-scale and environmental graphics.
  • Knowledge of signage production processes, substrates, and installation considerations.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to balance creativity and practicality.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, CorelDRAW, or CAD programs) for visualizing signage in real-world contexts.
  • Understanding of signage systems and environmental branding.
  • Familiarity with branding and marketing principles.
