The Team

Our Regional Underwriting team plays a key role in driving profitable growth across our broker network throughout Yorkshire and theNorth-East regions. Working closely with brokers, underwritingcolleaguesand regional leadership teams, we deliver excellent service, build long-term tradingrelationshipsand create sustainable growth opportunities.

We'relooking for an ambitious commercial underwriter who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role has been designed as a development opportunity, giving you exposure to broker development, regional tradingactivityand relationship management, while building the technical and commercial skills needed to progress towards a future Development Underwriter role.

  • You'll play an important role in supporting the growth of our business by building positive relationships with brokers across the region.
  • You'll work closely with our Underwriting team, Development Underwriters and brokers, helping to find the right solutions for our customers.
  • You'll contribute to a team that's focused on delivering great service, sharing knowledge and continuously improving the way we work.
  • You'll have opportunities to learn, develop and grow, with support to build your underwriting, trading and relationship management skills.
  • You'll gain exposure to a wide range of commercial insurance risks and broker interactions, helping you broaden your experience.
