We are pleased to be working in partnership with Scottish Water and are looking for a Customer Services Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our customers by managing enquiries and complaints relating to works carried out on behalf of our client, while providing clear and timely updates on progress. The Role You will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer queries, ensuring customers feel listened to, informed, and supported throughout their journey. Here are some of the activities you will be involved in… Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner Investigating customer queries and concerns, identifying root causes and agreeing appropriate resolutions Managing complaints with empathy and professionalism, turning challenges into positive customer experiences Keeping internal systems up to date with accurate records of customer communications Proactively updating customers on the progress of works Collecting, collating, and analysing data relating to customer enquiries and complaints to support continuous improvement We would love to hear from you if… You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively and manage conversations confidently, even in challenging situations. A genuine understanding of customer needs, along with patience and empathy, is essential. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills will enable you to manage a varied workload efficiently, while adaptability and flexibility will help you respond to a wide range of customer enquiries. You will also be comfortable using technology, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel, and confident building positive relationships both internally and externally.
