Are you an experienced / qualified nursery assistant looking to transition to a school based role?

Academics Bristol is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the nursery class at a mainstream primary school in north Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant school community and play a key role in supporting the youngest learners.

Location: Bristol - BS10. Free parking on site or easily accessible by public transport

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)

Salary: 90 - 110 per day, depending on experience

Contract: Term time only plus Insets

About the role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support and inspire children in their early years learning journey.
• Organise and manage interventions to help children progress.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

The right candidate

• Passionate about working with children and making a real difference.
• GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Qualified with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant field
• Able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and families.
