Civil Engineer

Rugby

Up to £40,000 basic salary

We’re working with a well-established business operating within land development and infrastructure delivery, who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their technical team based in Rugby.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a few years’ experience who wants exposure to the full development process: from early land appraisal through to infrastructure delivery and post-planning stages.

The role:

• Support the technical team with appraisal and delivery of development and infrastructure projects
• Assist in coordinating technical assessments including drainage, transport, flooding, geotechnical, ecology and other site-specific studies
• Carry out site visits and surveys to gather technical and environmental information
• Liaise with external consultants to ensure quality, value and timely delivery
• Contribute to technical appraisals, cost plans and project budgets
• Work closely with planners, architects, engineers and project managers across all stages of development
• Support the preparation of technical reports, documents and presentations
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

About you:

• 2–4 years’ experience in a civil or technical engineering role
• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Good understanding of the development and infrastructure process
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proactive, adaptable and keen to continue learning
• Comfortable working both in the office and on site
• Full UK driving licence required
